The Challenge

FullContact's second annual Connect event took over two full floors of Denver's iconic McNichols Building, transforming the space into a vibrant hub of ideas and industry dialogue. With multiple stages and an expanded two-day format, the event brought together professionals across customer success, martech, and innovation.

Attendees heard from industry leaders like Dave Gerhardt (Drift), Jeanette McMurtry (Marketing for Dummies), Niraj Deo (Oracle), Beverly Jackson (MGM Resorts), and Gloria DeCoste (Nestlé), who shared their perspectives on building authentic customer relationships and the future of personalized marketing.

 
 
 
 

The Solution

As the brand design lead, I shaped the full creative direction for Connect 2018—from early theme development to final execution. I managed the visual identity across every touchpoint: signage, stage design, digital campaigns, website design, promotional videos, presentation templates, and more. I also served as the primary creative point of contact for agency partners, ensuring alignment across all channels.

I partnered with the Downtown Denver Partnership to install 64 branded banners throughout the city’s business district and directed the creation of an animated promotional video to build excitement leading up to the event. On-site, I supported event execution across both floors—handling last-minute deck edits, sound checks, live social content capture, speaker logistics, and behind-the-scenes coordination to ensure the experience ran smoothly for both presenters and attendees.

The Results

Connect 2018 was a strong evolution of the inaugural event, attracting a broader audience, expanding session content, and deepening FullContact’s reputation as a brand that invests in both community and innovation. The event’s visual identity brought cohesion to a multi-floor venue and reinforced the company's leadership in customer intelligence. Our promotional efforts helped drive strong buzz and brought new energy and visibility to the brand in the weeks leading up to the event.

Attendees described the experience as dynamic, inspiring, and expertly executed, while internal teams praised the elevated creative vision and seamless brand experience throughout the venue.
