FullContact's Inaugural Flagship Conference: Connect 2017

FullContact hosted its first-ever customer intelligence conference, Connect, in Denver, CO—welcoming attendees from leading brands like Ticketmaster, PwC, Leo Burnett, Live Nation, Comcast, Dun & Bradstreet, SendGrid, and Wiland.

As the lead brand designer, I was responsible for creating the full visual identity of the event—from the venue environment to digital touchpoints—ensuring every detail reflected FullContact’s mission to empower more meaningful connections between brands and people.

In collaboration with my team, I designed a warm and inviting stage experience that blended Colorado pride with the company’s brand values. I supported our speaker program by refining slide decks for clarity, visual impact, and consistency—ensuring every presentation looked polished and professional.

 

I also designed:

  • Branded graphics throughout the venue

  • A custom landing page to promote the event and sell tickets

  • Slide templates and speaker decks

  • Digital ads and promotional content

  • A happy hour slideshow to support networking and event flow

In addition to my design work, I took on the role of on-site producer—supporting everything from registration and speaker logistics to last-minute deck edits, sound checks, live content capture, and social media storytelling. I managed behind-the-scenes coordination across three full days of sessions, networking, and after-hours events to ensure everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

 

Results

The cohesive visual system helped set the tone for a high-caliber experience, amplifying the voices of industry speakers like Michael Sharkey (CEO, Autopilot) and Bijal Shah (VP of Data Products, Ibotta).

The event was a major milestone in FullContact’s evolution as a thought leader—and a proud moment for our team.

Attendees described the event as “fresh, thoughtful, and incredibly well-executed,” while internal leadership noted that “Connect raised the bar for how we show up as a brand.”

The success of Connect 2017 laid the foundation for a follow-up event the next year—Connect 2018—which expanded on the original format and continued to elevate FullContact’s presence in the market.
